It also has the advantage that you can run the standalone version of PC 3.5.5 as a plugin from either the 32bit or 64bit version of PSP. #PERFECTLY CLEAR 3.5 SE PSP#Of course it won't work with 32bit PSP because it's a 64bit plugin.Īll that said, If you still can't get it to work but have the standalone version of PC 3.5.5 I also have modified the JSJ script so that it will run the standalone as a plugin in PSP and return the processed image as a new layer on your original in PSP. It works just fine for me with PSP 2018 64bit. I've attached the same script below but this one will run interactively regardless of the execution mode selected in the toolbar so it will open the plugin even if you have execution mode set to Silent. When you ran the script did it at least create the new layer but just not open Perfectly Clear so you ended up with just a copy of the original layer? If so, she hit the nail on the head. Perfectly Clear still did not open, but at least the script did not crash the program. JCBrown downloaded and tried your modified script. PC3-No Save2018_Interactive.zip (856 Bytes) Downloaded 158 times PC3-No Save2018.zip Perfectly Clear script - modified (821 Bytes) Downloaded 171 times I have now added the link to the script here also: If it's behaviour is to open with the last used preset then that's also how it's going to open.ĮDIT: On JanuI posted here (below) with the same script but changed it so that it would run regardless of the execution mode for scripts that you have set in the toolbar (i.e., Interactively so that the plugin will open regardless). That is, if the plugin's default behaviour is to open with its own default settings, that's how it's going to open regardless of the default properties in the script. Generally speaking, when running a plugin from a script you don't need the default properties of the plugin present in the script because they don't seem to change the default behaviour of the plugin. And not that I can see where this might affect the working of the script, Perfectly Clear 3.5.5 does have a slightly different Save routine than previous versions. I suspect it's Perfectly Clear that has that behaviour. PSP 2018 will run earlier versions of Perfectly Clear with those default properties present (but they don't change the behaviour of the plugin) but either PSP or Perfectly Clear chokes on those properties being present when calling Perfectly Clear 3.5.5. It's your 2018 script but I just removed the Perfectly Clear default properties from the script. John script I have attached here should run on 64bit PSP2018. I will keep trying, unless you can confirm that I am doing something wrong or that PSP2018 has a problem opening PC. Running the script in 2018 at least opened the PC essentials activation screen. I tried a new script using PC essentials, but it takes me to an activation screen, and I quit it. I opened PSPX9 and the script worked properly and PC 3.2 opened. With PSP2018, a new script would not open PC 3.2 plugin (I have not yet updated). See below for my attempt using a previous version of PC 3. The script hangs upon trying to open PC, not upon exit, as I never get PC to open using the script. I have no way that I know of to check if the Save routine has changed. I am using the PC 3 plugin, not the standalone (which is new), in fact, I have yet to try the standalone.Īs far as I know, my current version is the first one with a standalone. Running the script still would not open PC 3 and cause PSP2018 to hang. Running the script no longer opened PC 3 so I redid the script. something and then upgraded to PSP2018 and PC 3.5. I am a novice at scripting, so I made my own by simply recording the steps.
